Hi, my name is Darcy Haas, and I’m organizing this GoFundMe to help with my stepfather’s funeral expenses.

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved ( Dad ) Scott Luther.On Friday the 21st at 4:45 PM, Scott’s courageous battle came to an end at the age of 59. He was a fighter in every sense of the word, facing small cell lung cancer and the rare Lambert-Eaton Myasthenia Syndrome with incredible strength and resilience.

Now, as we face the heartbreaking reality of saying goodbye, we are reaching out for help. The costs of medical treatments, care, and now funeral expenses have placed a heavy burden on our family. We want to honour Scott’s memory with the beautiful service he deserves and support Mim as she navigates this difficult time.

Scott was not only a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, but also an inspiration to everyone who knew him. His strength, humour, and love left an indelible mark on those around him. Scott embraced life fully—whether he was chasing pigs with his loyal dogs, enjoying a cold beer, or gathering around a bonfire with friends and family.
