Help & hope for our friend Lisa

Hi my name is Lois & I’m reaching out for help & hope for my best friend of 58 years; Lisa Brooks. I’m trying to raise money to help get her equipment she needs to help with the maintenance of her new diagnosis of Lymphedema-this disease is incurable & the medical costs to treat it can be insurmountable & not covered by insurance. Already disabled with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankelosing spondylitis & severe back degeneration -lymphedema brings a whole new challenge to her activities of daily living. In order to keep the swelling down in her legs she needs special leg wraps that she has to wear 22 hours/day, leg compression pumps to get swelling down, special shoes, Physical therapy, a lift bed to make it easier to get in & out of bed etc. Aside from the pain Lisa is experiencing, she said her legs feel like concrete causing her mobility to be challenged. Anyone that knows Lisa knows that she has always been happy, upbeat & a good friend ;Lisa is loved by so many people -but would NEVER ask for help; that’s where I come in to ask you to please help Lisa....
