Help Hospital in Chernihiv Ukraine

Hi, my name is Oksana Gearheard. My uncle, Dmytro Rudenko is a Director of The Central Regional Hospital (Чернігівська центральна районна лікарня) in Chernihiv, Ukraine. He's been a doctor his whole life, is a true philantropist,  and is one of the kindest people I know. This time he himself needs help. 

Since Russian aggressive attack on Ukraine February 24th, 2022 Chernihiv had been one of the most heavily attacked cities in Ukraine. Due to a heavy shelling, missile and artillery attacks, city's infrastructure is severely damaged, leaving many of it's citizens without water, electricity and food for days at a time.

After I heard about the damage to my uncle’s hospital, I asked him if I could help in any way. Yesterday, he asked if I could possibly find a power generator for his hospital. This is an emergency need at this time. Unfortunately, there are no available generators in Chernihiv, also it is very-very difficult to find them available in Ukraine today due to a high demand. With the help of my father (who lives in Kiev) and his friends we were able to find a generator for purchase from a different state.

The delivery of the generator to Chernihiv hospital is not an easy task itself as the roads are extremely dangerous. The delivery will be performed by one of the reliable and trusted volunteers, who does other deliveries of aid to Chernihiv.

I kindly ask for your help with raising money for this expense. The cost of the generator itself is $12,500. It is a 50 kVt power generator, that will provide power to essential devices and medical equipment in the hospital.
