Hi my name is Hossam Abo Shab, I am 21 years old and I am from Gaza, Palestine. I have lived all my life here in Gaza with my beautiful family in our warm home . I always dreamt of becoming a doctor when I grew up. I wanted to help my people and my community and to give back as much as I can.

I worked and studied really hard to achieve my dream goal. One day, I managed to get into Medical school. I was very grateful and happy to have come so far. Alhamdulillah

Unfortunately, due to the recent unfold of events that occurred here in Gaza, everything has changed. There is no more normal here in Gaza.My family and I left our home and were displaced more than once and to more than one different place in search of safety

Here I am today, after losing our warm family home, my room, my desk, my books, and all my belongings. The family home that was built from the hard work and struggle of my father, gone in the blink of an eye. Today, after more than 5 months of war, we have suffered from displacement, homelessness, cold, hunger, and all kinds of fear and siege. All we think about daily is how to secure food and drink, the basics we need to stay alive. How our lives have turned from dignified lives, full of work, achievements, and beautiful memories.: and now, I am facing an uncertain future, and I do not want to stand idly by as my future is destroyed. I thought of starting this campaign to help me complete my studies and the dream that the occupation has destroyed
