Help House Fire Family Get Back On Their Feet

Hi, my name is Christa and I created this gofundme on behalf of my cousins, Bruteau and his family. They were involved in a terrible house fire that engulfed their house without knowing what the cause was.

The morning of August 19th, Bruteau went to drop off his wife at work after returning home from a night shift. Upon returning home later that morning, he went in the bathroom in hopes of showering before going to bed as he usually does. But before he could begin, he noticed smoke arising in the bathroom and he quickly got dressed and opened the bathroom door. To his surprise, within a few minutes his house was engulfed by smoke and flames with his two daughters still in the home. Bruteau was able to grab his 2 daughters and bring them to the basement where he had to break the small basement window to get them all out. They suffered some “minor” injuries from glass shards and Bruteau injured his ankle and his wrist from breaking the window with his fist.

Unfortunately, they lost everything in the fire, as the insurance will not be accommodating them. Only their vehicle will be covered by auto-insurance, which cannot sustain the family of 4. Pictures & Videos
