Help Hudson Get Critical Heart Care

Hi my name is Lia and I am Hudson's mom.

Hudson is 9.5 year old lab mix & he needs our help. A little more about Huddy & I will be below.

TLDR: Hudson & I need Help. He has been collapsing & his breathing stops. Specialty vet cost for a Cardiology exam, echogram and consultation is $925.

On Monday 4/21, Hudson had two episodes where he collapsed & stopped breathing. We went to the vet right after his second episode, we thought it was seizures but we were wrong. It is his heart.

His vet referred him to a cardiologist at Blue Pearl. She also mentioned that her dog who was relatively young & healthy passed away suddenly from the same thing.

Cardiology for dogs is expensive. We have to run diagnostics to see if it is something that can be treated or if it is something that will take his life. This appointment includes Exam, Echogram & consultation. It does NOT include what he will need afterwards & sadly we do not have an estimate for that although I have asked 4 different vets.

His first appointment with BP was scheduled on June 26th (Zeus's transition day) but after numerous calls to other speciality vets, I was able to get him scheduled for May 8th.

Hudson & I have been together since he was 10 months old. I have paid for all of his medical bills out of pocket but sadly I have come down on hard times since losing Zeus last June. Hudson & I lost our best friend & soul dog. It has been hard to recover for both of us but we have each other.

Hudson is super sassy, loved by pretty much everyone & can be a bit high maintenance. He got over 50,000 views on Tik Tok for being his lazy goofy self. His vet, physical therapy office, neighbors & ALL of his girlfriends love him. He is truly the light of my life. He has a mean side eye but has a sweet & sassy personality.
