No one grows up as a child and envisions living in a tent under the freeway.
No one grows up dreaming they will one day look for their meals in a dumpster.
No one grows up thinking one day they will freeze to death on a park bench.
No one grows up thinking their daughter will someday have to choose between tampons or a hot meal!
These are choices homeless people make every day…
You can help us change this…
So, you might be thinking!
Aren’t many homeless people drug addicts, prostitutes and mentally ill!
Yes, this is true!
But has anyone ever told you, why?
What no one talks about is that the #1 cause of homelessness, is the loss of family.
As a result, our streets are filled with widows, widowers and orphans who have aged out of the foster system and people who have experienced profound and catastrophic loss of family.
They walk around the streets and highways with heavy hearts, utterly “invisible” to most of the world around them, drowning and wounded in grief. Some homeless people are also domestic abuse victims, the disabled, veterans, former foster children, and hospital patients discharged with nowhere to go, but the streets.
Because they are “invisible”, people don’t really know how homeless people ended up on the streets.
If people really knew, they would help, and that’s why we are telling you, their stories!
We feed people that shelters don’t reach!
We feed people in abandoned cars, abandoned RV’s, tents, on sidewalks and other makeshift shelters.
We drive around to areas that most people would consider to be cringeworthy and menacing.
The truth is, the homeless population in these areas don’t have easy access to homeless shelters, clothing banks and food banks and we hand out care packages, meals, sleeping bags, pads/tampons, underwear, clothing and other essentials.
But honestly, even though we do all of these things;
We still run out of food, supplies and it’s heartbreaking to watch people go away hungry.
Because, everyone deserves a meal!
Because, everyone deserves a shower!
Because, everyone deserves a place to rest their head!
That’s why we need your help now, to increase our efforts and donations now!
Frankly, there are tons of ways you can spend your money.
Why help a homeless person you have never seen?
They are unknown to you?
Invisible?
A person you will never meet …
To put it really, really, simply!
Because everyone matters…
And everyone should have someone who cares!
Everyone deserves family!
We know that family is you and me.
How do I know that? You are still reading; you’re a kind-hearted soul!

The Woods!
Yep! You heard right! The Woods!
Why the woods of all places in rainy Washington State you might ask? Good Question!
There are no homeless shelter in our town of Lacey, Washington which has a population of close to 50K people. The next town over Olympia, Washington which happens to also be the capital, has a population of 51K has at least 10 shelters.
But Lacey has Zero!
Zero permanent shelters means human beings are “camping out” in the woods, in the 21st Century, like animals!
Unacceptable!
We recently gave a homeless woman, duct tape to patch a hole in her tent that rats nibbled at night!
Yes, Rats!
Help us get “Human Beings” out of the woods!
Help us change this grim reality…
