Help Hunter’s Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
We are reaching out to ask for your support for the Vallee/Brooks family—Tamara, Luke, and their sons, Hunter and Tristan—as they face an incredibly difficult journey.
Hunter, a bright and kind-hearted teenager, has been diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal B-cell Lymphoma (stage 4), a rare and fast-growing form of cancer. He is now preparing for six months of intensive chemotherapy, and due to the severity of his condition, he will need to remain in the hospital for the entire duration of treatment. Just days ago, he also had to undergo emergency heart surgery. Hunter is fighting for his life each day with strength and courage no one his age should ever have to show.
This all began during what should have been a milestone moment—Hunter’s first solo school trip abroad to Poland—when his symptoms suddenly began. What started as a dream experience quickly turned into a medical emergency. It has been a heartbreaking and exhausting week getting him home safely, and the emotional and financial toll on the family has been overwhelming.
Tamara is self-employed and must hire help to keep her business going, resulting in a major loss of income. Luke must eventually return to work despite the dire circumstances, and the family faces growing uncertainty. Donations will support medical costs, basic needs, and critical expenses during this time. We're currently exploring Personalized Oncology Genetic testing, which is $24,000 USD and would be funded by this GoFundMe.
This is an incredibly challenging time with an unknown journey ahead. We ask for your help, your prayers, and for you to keep Hunter close in your thoughts.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for standing with the Vallee/Brooks family.
This GoFundMe was created by Hunter’s aunt, Justine Kendall Brooks, on behalf of the family.
