Hi, my name is Husam M. Hammad, and I am a Palestinian from the Gaza Strip, where my family and I are currently facing a humanitarian crisis due to the relentless attacks on our home. For the past five years, I have worked hard to build a future, including hopes of marriage. However, the ongoing war has shattered those hopes and destroyed everything I have worked for, including my family home.

I am reaching out to you, the compassionate people of the world, with a heavy heart. My family and I are in desperate need of financial assistance to survive the imminent threat of death in Gaza. Our home, filled with memories and hopes, has been completely destroyed.

We are currently displaced and facing overwhelming financial hardship.

Why We Need Help: Since the war started, my family and I have been forced to move more than eight times, from one dangerous area to another, seeking safety. We are currently living in a rental home, but the cost is enormous given our lack of income. we are struggling to afford clean water, food, and basic necessities. The emotional toll on my family is unbearable.

The war has not only destroyed our home but also made it impossible for me to work. I am a software developer, but with constant displacement and unreliable internet access, my ability to earn a living has been decimated.

This fundraiser is our last hope to rebuild our lives, recover from this devastation, and regain a sense of normalcy.

How Your Donation Will Help: We are aiming to raise €33,000 to cover the following urgent needs:

€1,000 to cover the remaining rent for a safer temporary home

€1,650 for medical expenses for my family members

€1,650 to help us access clean water, food, and other basic necessities

€3,000 to replace household items and clothes we have lost

€5,000 for essential expenses while we are displaced

€20,000 to help us rebuild our family home, which has been completely destroyed, and return to normal life.

My Background: I have lived in Gaza my whole life, surviving five major Israeli assaults. I’ve built a career in software development, a path that has provided me with purpose and hope for a better future. But now, my family and I face a situation where survival itself is a challenge.
