Help Hussam and his family evacuate from Gaza

Hello world!
I’m writing this to you in a time of great urgency and need.
I am Hussam Abu Ishaiba, a fourth-year medical student at Al-Azhar University in Gaza. An ambitious human being, and I strive to make my mark in this vast world.
I believe that mentioning the name of Gaza is enough to send shivers of fear through your body from what's happening here.

My story began 170 days ago when my family and I were displaced from our house under bombardment and fire that terribly destroyed Gaza. We have encountered and continue to face unaffordable difficulties of being displaced from our home, the lack of food, water, clothing, the essential ingredients of life and the spreading of diseases, the lack of sleep, and we have been subjected to severe psychological stress from the horror of the destruction and blood we see and the loss of some of our martyred relatives, and the sounds of huge explosions that shake the ground beneath our feet in our displacement center. It's like a nightmare that's been attacking us for 170 days, and we don't know when it's going to end and whether or not we're going to survive. I don't know how we're going to get through these scenes and lose those around us.

So my family decided to get out of the hell of death from Gaza. I and my family stick to a tent wall because of the flames of fire and rockets coming down on residential buildings. I'm a medical student who finished the third year before the war. And I dreamed so much of being a doctor who would save humanity and children from the evil of diseases and specialize in gastrointestinal endoscopic surgery, But my dream was killed under the rubble of my university, where I studied and became a wreck, as you can see in the picture below.

Since 07/10/2023, everything has changed in my life; from a medical student to a baker, a water carrier, a runner, until my house and my dreams have been crashed, and I don't know whether I will come out from this genocide to which we are subjected.
Help me and my family escape from the death which we face every moment in Gaza. We've only become a soulless body.

My house that I was living in was destroyed, we escaped death, and also the main street in our neighborhood was bombed as you can see in the pictures below.

Today I write to you from the center of displacement and from under the tent of its canvas wall, horror and hunger fill the place. Our center displacement in Dair Al-Balah has approximately 2,500 Individual in a very narrow space, makes life totally non-existent.

Help me realize my dream of attending a university outside the Gaza Strip to complete my study like the rest of the world's students. I am very interested in education. Therefore, despite the Internet's disruption where we are displaced, I have been sitting on the street pier in the freezing cold so I can go online to download surgery course lectures to watch!
I also want to survive a place that is safe from the spectre of death, bombing planes and screaming bloody mothers and children, and there is no hospital and no ambulance that can reach them, but I believe in hope after pain and I trust that in this world there are lives love peace and help me and my family to survive the death of an investigator and return me my dream.

I have always loved to give good, help and support to the community, but today I need you to stand by me to overcome this ordeal. I previously offered several first aid exercises to university students (as you can see in the pictures below), participated in the distribution of food parcels to families displaced to southern Gaza during the war, and launched several fundraising campaigns to help poor families.

I am currently volunteering at Al-Aqsa Hospital to provide medical services to the patients.

I have initiated this GoFundMe campaign to raise £21000 to facilitate me and my family's evacuation to Egypt. Here's a breakdown of the funds:
  • £2,000 for Immediate Support: This portion will go towards providing immediate assistance to my family. It will cover our basic needs for food, and other essentials during the transitional period in Egypt.
  • £18,400 for Permits and Crossing Fees: So that we can get out of the Gaza Strip right now we must have dual citizenship (which we do not have) or pay £4,500 for every member of my family as a fee to cross the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, and it is difficult for my family to save that amount because we are in the middle of a war.
  • £600 to cover GoFundMe's Transaction fees: The transaction fee (2.9%+£0.25 per donation).

By supporting me, you are not only helping one person, but investing in the future of health care in a place where this is desperately needed, and you will contribute to achieving my dream and saving my life and my family's life from death.

I very much appreciate the donations no matter how small they are. Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues to help us reach our goal. Your support means the world to me, and I am immensely grateful for any assistance you can provide during this challenging time.
I want the world to hear my voice from this big prison, Gaza.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity ❤️
