Help Hutsell-Family of 5 Recover from Fire

Eatonton, GA

On February 15th, 2024, Joseph and Niki Hutsell, alongside their 3 children, returned to a devastating fire engulfing their family home and belongings. While everyone made it out of the home safely, their cats are still struggling and receiving veterinary care. Almost the entire home has been burned down by the actual fire that began, while the remainder of the home has been severely damaged/ruined by valiant firefighting efforts.

Joe and Niki (Putnam County Teachers) are continuing to work hard and be there for their students while also navigating this new normal and trying to provide as much stability for their own children.

As of right now, professionals are estimating at least 9-12 months rebuild time- but this could extend significantly once investigations are complete, and the work begins. They are currently staying in a hotel and trying to safely salvage what little remains of their personal belongings in the home itself.

I am starting this Go Fund Me page on behalf of the Hutsell family- hoping to at least scratch the surface and take some financial pressure off this family who has dedicated so many decades of their lives to serving others.
