Dear Colleagues,
On Saturday, August 31st, 2019 Ian Rollo suffered a horrible accident. Many of you may know Ian as a colleague working at our Casa, Sherbourne and Ajax sites. He is the husband of Nadia Rollo and loving dad to Maya, Domenic and Cristian. He is also the son in law of our own Hennie Lisozzi.
What started out to be a regular weekend evening for Ian and his sons who spend Saturday nights in the yard bonding over the fire pit, turned dangerous very quickly after the fire turned into an explosion causing Ian to catch on fire and badly burned him.
Ian has suffered third degree burns to 40% of his body. He is currently at Sunnybrook Hospital in the burn unit on life support. Ian has a long road ahead and will require several surgeries and a long rehabilitation.
He will be out of work for the foreseeable future and his family is faced with a life altering situation that requires lots of support, and generosity during this devastating process. At this time, we are reaching out to you for prayers, strength and support for the family. This GoFundMe will go towards any bills associated with his hospital stay, his family’s finances, and his 3 children. Any amount no matter how small or large, will be greatly appreciated.
