Help Ian Kick Cancer's Butt!

Hi everyone,

As some of you may know, Ian Elam was diagnosed with cancer last month after having a tumor removed. Unfortunately, further testing determined that he would need to undergo chemotherapy treatment. He will begin this process very soon.

Ian is the most positive, uplifting person. You could never feel unwelcome or left out when he is around. He cooks a mean turkey and always brings his own cooler full of Coors; what else could you ask for in a guy? He truly is the life AND the heart of the party.

We all love Ian so much for the tremendously kind and genuine man that he is. We know he is tough, and he will get through this. As friends of Ian's, we immediately wanted to help with whatever we could. But, of course, accepting help can be hard during these difficult times.

I would like to use this as an opportunity to show Ian how much we all care for him and are here to help. Ian and Anna have a very long and happy life ahead of them. I know they’re more than excited about getting a house together, as well as marriage and kids down the road. C’mon, we’d all LOVE to see it and we don’t want this to set them back! So lend prayers, lend an ear, lend a kind word or two and if you're able, let's help with the burden of costs associated with beating cancer's butt! While we're not entirely sure of the total costs, we thought this goal would be a good place to start. If you know Ian, he would absolutely do the same for you! Please share (:
