Help Ian Matheson Help Refugees in Ukraine

Hi, my name is Steve Matheson, and I am fundraising to support my son, Ian Matheson, who has traveled to Poland and Ukraine to help refugees fleeing the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Ian is located in Poland near Przemysl, a small town near a border crossing from Ukraine. Up to 50,000 refugees have been arriving each day in Przemsysl, with hundreds more entering at other frontier crossing points.

Ian has been on the ground since March 23rd, networking with other volunteers and agencies to assist refugees crossing the border, providing food and water and driving them to refugee centers throughout Poland. Currently, Ian is attempting to source emergency medical supplies for disbursement to injured soldiers and civilians throughout Ukraine.

Money raised through this GoFundMe appeal will help Ian with travel and subsistence expenses and obtain humanitarian/medical supplies for refugees and sick or injured persons in Ukraine. Any money raised not used for this purpose will be donated to the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders.
