Help Ian Overcome Cancer and Support His Family

On July 4th, 2024, my husband Ian was admitted to the hospital for an emergency surgery for what was thought to be appendicitis. Unfortunately, a large mass was found in his colon that needed to be removed, which was potentially cancerous. On July 24th, we received devastating news that the mass was cancerous and that it had invaded the nearby lymph nodes, ultimately making it stage 3 colon cancer. The best course of action, to ensure all cancer be removed from Ian’s body, is to have a portacath implanted and to have two rounds of chemo every other week, for 6 months.

We started this GoFundMe, in hopes to raise funds for Ian’s treatment, as well as supporting our family, surmounting bills, food, and any other unexpected costs that may come up.

Ian, at the young age of 34, is facing a challenge that many of us don’t face until much later in life. Our children, myself, and all of our family and friends all pray that we can fight this together, to help Ian overcome one of the hardest challenges of his life.
