Help Ian Ruskoski Build a Community Haven

Hello everyone, my name is Ian Ruskoski from Franklin, Louisiana. After years of living across the USA to support my family, returned to assist my mother in making her daily life a bit easier, which has been accomplished.

Recently, joined a Bible believing Church, have become part of their family and am on a path of leadership, community enhancement, with a focus on Jesus, the youth, and elderly. I ran for City Council and was defeated; am on the Parish Council on Aging Board of Directors, volunteer at our thrift store, and also provide personal Baseball coaching, along with working for myself to help people who haven’t been able to find trustworthy individuals to provide services.

I’m seeking donations and gifts to purchase an aging local church property which will become my residence, a safe haven, a gathering place for Christians, has the potential for a thrift shop within to help fund the local elderly community, and also has a large enough property for: a community garden; & youth who seek extra baseball practice time.

Additionally, I envision a property for small weddings, receptions, and a retreat center.

This opportunity is one of a kind and I’d like to see what we can do to make it happen here in Franklin, Louisiana.

Asking Price is $137,000.

All appliances will need to be purchased. A new roof will be a necessity. The rooms aside from the sanctuary will need some fixing up. The restrooms will need some remodeling. The property will need to have some drainage installed to assist in drawing water away from the building so the woodwork doesn’t continue to deteriorate. Woodwork and windows will require some TLC to extend the life of the building. A back door will need to be reworked. Wood on the bottom of the stained glass needs reassuring.
