Hello, my name is Ibraheem Ghazi Alnabriss. I live in Khanyunis city, at the heart of the Gaza Strip, where recent conflicts have turned our daily lives into a constant battle for survival.

The turmoil has left our home filled with cherished memories, in ruins. Additionally, the chaos claimed my workplace, along with my laptop—my essential connection to the outside world and my clients. Bikes, electronics, and irreplaceable personal belongings now lie buried under what used to be our sanctuary.

A Journey for Survival

Confronted with escalating violence, my family and I faced the impossible choice to abandon everything familiar in search of safety and peace. My goal is to make it to Egypt, leaving behind the war to start over from nothing.

The exit from Gaza is obstructed by numerous hurdles, including a system where Palestinians must pay exorbitant fees to Egyptian travel brokers—ranging from $6,000 to $12,000—for a mere chance at escape. Fraught with scammers and misinformation, this route is not just costly but perilously uncertain, putting the required sum far out of my reach during these challenging times.

With a mix of sorrow and hope, I am reaching out through this campaign for your support to begin a new chapter in our lives.

Safe Passage: Facilitating my departure from the Gaza Strip.
