Reunite Ibrahim with his family

This fundraiser is an urgent appeal for Ibrahim Al Dohouk.

Many of you saw the video of Ibrahim, a 14 year old boy who survived a bombing and suffered the tragic amputation of his arm. Many of us were heartbroken seeing this video and his story stayed with us. Ibrahim is now in Doha, Qatar, after a medical evacuation. Thankfully, NGOs were able to evacuate his mother to join him after 1.5 months of being alone in the hospital. We are relieved to know he is in good care and have been struck by his courage enduring what no child should ever have to go through.

Ibrahim is urgently appealing for your help to get the rest of his family to safety. His father, brother, and little sisters are in danger in Gaza. Today there was a bombing next to the area where the family are staying, where they are currently displaced in Rafah. These daily bombings are terrifying for the family. Further, it is urgent to get his family out before the threatened ground invasion of Rafah.

Ibrahim is asking for support to get his family to safety and to deliver his loved ones to him. They are his lifeline to healing.

The goal of this fundraiser is $26,000. Your contributions will go to the following:

$20k for travel documents, transportation, and fees for the family to travel to Doha

$5k for the family’s living expenses in Doha (food, shelter, humanitarian needs)

$750 deducted for Gofundme transaction fees (2.9% fee)

The funds will be securely transferred to the family. If the family is not able to evacuate, the funds will be used for Ibrahim's medical needs (to secure a high-quality prosthetic arm). The needs of the family have been verified with NGO caregivers who helped to evacuate Ibrahim.

Ibrahim deserves love and support as he recovers from this traumatic injury. Let’s show him that many of us care about his well-being.

يناشد إبراهيم مساعدتك بشكل عاجل لإيصال بقية أفراد عائلته إلى بر الأمان. والده وأخيه وأخواته الصغار في خطر في غزة. اليوم حصل قصف بجوار المنطقة التي تقيم فيها العائلة، حيث هم نازحون حاليًا في رفح. هذه التفجيرات اليومية مرعبة للعائلة. علاوة على ذلك، من الملح إخراج عائلته قبل التهديد بالغزو البري لرفح.
