Help Ibrahim's family in Gaza to survive and evacuate

Greetings, My name is Shahana from Cambridge in the UK. I am reaching out on behalf of my dear amazing friends in Gaza: Ibrahim Abu Rajila and his family.

I've had the privilege of glimpsing their lives before the current tragic circumstances. Our conversations have offered me profound insights into the daily hardships they endure.

Ibrahim says "“Our region is Khuza'a, which is next to the border fence between us and the occupation. Every day attacks are launched on us refugees. The sound of artillery, shelling and bullets makes our children panic and have fear and anxiety”.

Ibrahim and Asmaa are compassionate individuals who have consistently supported their community. Earlier this year, they brought joy to the neighborhood children by purchasing simple toys for them. Thanks to previous precious donations, the Rajila family have been able to provide clean drinking water to newly arrived refugees as shown in one of the updates. Once, they managed to provide clean drinking water to their local community. Ibrahim dreams of securing a safe future for his wife Asmaa, their daughter Toleen, and himself. As a family of three, they are determined to leave Gaza amidst soaring evacuation costs—ranging from an average of $5,000 to $7,000 per person, along with a $2,000 processing fee, and essential expenses for a safe passage to Egypt. Their young daughter Toleen, barely a year old when the conflict began, deserves a childhood filled with laughter, play, nutritious meals, and stability, far from the chaos of Gaza. The funds we raise will be critical in providing them with shelter, clothing, medical care, and essential necessities, having lost everything in the current crisis. My plan is to leave Gaza with my family to start over, I want to make sure that my family will be safe and stable, and I will continue my studies while trying to save to continue my dream that they took from me.

We are a family of 3 (me, my wife, Asmaa, and my little girl, Toleen). Exiting from Gaza will cost between $5,000- $7,000 per person as each day there is a different price for evacuation fee at the Egyptian border, plus a processing fee of $2,000 per person and additional costs to be safely being transported from Gaza to Egypt.

The rest of the money will go to a shelter where we are staying, for basic human needs, clothing, medical care and important things because we lost everything we had.
