Help Ice Cream Dice Retain a Lawyer

Hey Everyone,

My name is Marc Schubert and I am the owner of Ice Cream Dice. About a year and a half ago, I made an effort to sell the brand so that I could take care of some brand commitments (like a Kickstarter) and pay off my business debts.

I was in negotiations with the other party for over a year and sent them 80% of my stock which they sold online and at shows for several months.

The other party has decided they don't want to purchase the brand and have decided that in order to cover their expenses they need to keep over half the stock I sent them.

Both sides offered proposals that the other declined and now things are at a point where I am only communicating with their lawyer and would like to have legal counsel of my own.

I am looking to retain a lawyer I've consulted with and would like to retain as my counsel. To do that I need to pay his retainer. I haven't been able to generate revenue for over a year because I was in a fulfilment contract with the other party, that has now been ended. Due to this, all our credit and savings have been drained, which is why I am asking for your support.

I started Ice Cream Dice to bring some joy and whimsy to gaming tables and all I want is to bring it back to me so I can find the right people to steward it forward and honor my commitments to both customers and family.

Every little bit helps and while it doesn't feel great to have to ask for help like this, I need to follow my own advice which is 'If you don't ask, it can't be a yes.'

So, I am asking for help and I hope the answer's yes.
