Help Idalia Becerril In Her Battle Against Cancer

As many who know my sister Idalia may already know she was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer over three months ago.  Idy is a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend to all that know her. Her battle has been so far uphill: first undergoing a colon resection surgery and liver surgery, a rough numerous rounds of chemotherapy, constant fevers, subcutaneous ports, needles, CT scans, etc. She is fighting the fight of her life, with God on her side and for her 3 girls: Rebekah, Sarah and Leah, which are still under her care and depend on mom.

 

One of the dregs of the fight against cancer is the part of dealing with the needed care that insurance will not cover. As a family, we are pulling together to help her in this aspect to find care for her when she is a home and not at the hospital. Believe it or not, when you have cancer, hospitals send you home even when you are not stable, this requires someone to be there for Idy night and day to administer medications, and help her during those rough moments at home alone. As a family, our resources are limited and have decided to reach out to you that know her for help.

 

Idy is a warrior and has full hope and faith to make it through this, trusting God. We ask for your help for her and her children, and more importantly for prayers for her as she goes through her ordeal. Thank you.
