Help Ilene Otai fight cancer

Ilene Otai is a friend and the owner of the beloved Takuma Japanese restaurant, a place where friends from Madison and neighboring towns meet and enjoy her hospitality.

While still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic crisis that greatly affected small businesses, Ilene was diagnosed with a relapse of lymphoma she treated a few years ago. During this time, she is undergoing a costly treatment, which includes chemotherapy and autologous bone marrow transplantation.

She and her family were hit hard by the crisis and had to cover the increasing health care costs of her treatment.
