Help to Save Ilhama's life

Donation protected
Ilhama started the next phase of the rehabilitation of her body against GVHD after the bone marrow transplant several years ago at the Kinderklinik in Tübingen, Germany.

Ilhama Nagizade is a 15-year-old girl and the only child in her family. She lives in Azerbaijan. In 2017, she underwent a bone marrow transplant in Germany. After that, she had to be treated for GVHD (Graft Versus Host Disease) caused by the newly transplanted stem cells. There is an urgent need to continue the treatment to eliminate the damage to the liver and organs caused by the side effects of chemotherapies. For this reason, the Clinic called us for emergency treatment in July.

According to the doctors, she can regain her total health after completing the treatment course.

After a heavy transplant, regular treatments are needed for up to 18 years. She can return to a healthy life if she is treated for three years.

We need your help with treatment, examination, and living expenses based on the invoice sent by the Clinic. Rehabilitation courses for three years, including all of the procedures, costs 202.200,00€.

This little girl is holding on to life; despite being sick, she is excelling in her studies at school. She is a student who knows three languages very well.

It is hard to imagine what Ilhama and her mother feel. Let's help Ilhama; let's try our best to save her life.
