Help Ilyas Get Top Surgery!

Hi! I’m Ilyas, a 28 year old trans man from Singapore. I started transitioning in 2016, and I’ve been on hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for four years since then.

I am looking to get a major surgery, which is a double mastectomy with nipple grafts, commonly referred to as top surgery. This is a common procedure chosen by trans masculine and nonbinary individuals to alleviate gender dysphoria and can be life saving in many circumstances.

This sort of treatment is not subsidized by the government in my country and to have it done locally will cost me tens of thousands of dollars. I am looking to have it done overseas, in Penang, Malaysia. The funded amount will go towards hospital fees, travel and accommodation for the duration of the procedure and healing time.

I would love for this procedure to be funded and cease binding my chest, as I am an asthmatic and it has caused breathing difficulty in the past. My chest area is also expanding as I am gaining muscle mass, making binding increasingly difficult as time passes. Do consider donating, even a dollar towards the cause helps.
