Help Iman and Her Family Survive in War-Torn Gaza
Donation protected
Hi my name is Lisa Arezo and I am from Edmonton, AB in Canada and I am raising funds for my friend Iman and her family who have been suffering the war in Gaza. She needs our support to help survive this war that her and her family have been suffering through. Sending funds to Gaza is difficult but I will make sure every amount received will be sent to her directly to help her and her family survive.
Here a message from Iman:
Hello, my name is Iman. I am a mother of five children, ranging from 15 years old to just two years old. We live in the northern Gaza Strip, and our lives have been devastated by the ongoing war. Before this, we managed to live a relatively peaceful life despite the long-standing siege on Gaza. My children would go to school every day, and though life was challenging, we found moments of joy.
Everything changed after October 7, 2023. Our home was destroyed, and we were forced to flee, moving from one place to another, seeking safety. We have been displaced eight times, now living in a state of homelessness and famine. Even clean water is a luxury we can no longer afford.
My children go to bed hungry every night. My youngest, only two years old, cries for milk that we cannot provide. Their diet has been reduced to flour and dry bread; they have not had vegetables, meat, or fruits since the war began. Malnutrition has taken a toll on their bodies—my son Muhammad's bones are visible, his chest protrudes, and his spine's vertebrae are prominent. Scabies has spread due to the lack of hygiene and medicine, and we live crammed with 40 others in a small classroom.
Despite their struggles, my children are bright and eager to learn, but they have been deprived of education. Every day is a battle against fear, hunger, and despair.
I am reaching out to you because we have no income and no way to meet even our most basic needs. We need to raise $50,000 to provide food, medicine, and shelter for my family and help us rebuild our lives in these impossible conditions.
Your donations, no matter how small, can be a beacon of hope for my family. Every dollar counts and will make a significant difference in our lives. Please, help us survive this nightmare.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
