Help Imani on her journey to being cancer free !

During the summer of 2020, I struggled with my self worth due to an unidentifiable mass behind my ear . It greatly impacted my confidence and I only allowed people close to me around. After multiple tests, biopsies, and scans I was diagnosed with Lymphoma in June 2020. The next month, I started IV treatment that included 8hr session every week.

Currently I’m on IV treatment every 2 months for the next 2 years ( i have about a year & 2 months left) . Treatment has been successful in shrinking majority of the cells but due to a residual tumor left behind my care team is suggesting radiation to completely get rid of the cancer. Because this is such a rare and sensitive spot, they recommend a more localized radiation that only treats the specified area. This radiation is not available locally and I will have to travel to San Diego for a month to complete treatment.

Normally, I am a extremely private person when it comes to my health but due to the financial strain this has put on me and my family I am asking for any support! My financial responsibility is combined of my  expenses including: medical bills etc. for the month of June while I am receiving radiation.
