Help Immigrant and Low-income Kids in Kingston attend camp
Tax deductible
We're thrilled to launch this yearly fundraiser to send immigrant and low income children to summer camp on full scholarship, purchase a bus, and prepare the land for community plots.
Last year, with the help of our beloved community (YOU!) we were able to bring an average of 15 campers per week to summer camp for free. We have already received 20 applicants per week for summer camp 2024, and hope to support them ALL with the help of our beloved community (YOU!).
Due to a generous anonymous donation, we are able to TRIPLE MATCH donations for to the first $5,000 raised. So, donating NOW will generate the most value. Please consider donating any amount you are able, so we can continue to serve underprivileged children in the local Kingston community.
Our $100K goal
We are raising $80,000 to send 20 immigrant and low income children per week to summer camp on scholarship. Additionally, we are raising $10,000 to secure a school bus and offer these same campers free transportation too and from camp. Lastly, we are raising $10,000 to prepare the camp for community plots.
Here's how you can help make a difference:
1. **Contribute now:** Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant impact on our ability to achieve our fundraising goals and support our community initiatives. For the first $5,000, your donation will be TRIPLE MATCH
2. **Join our volunteer team:** We're always looking for dedicated volunteers to help us with various tasks on the farm and during our educational programs. Your time and effort are invaluable to us.
3. **Share this post:** Spread the word about our fundraiser by sharing this post with your network and beyond. Your support in raising awareness is instrumental in reaching our fundraising targets.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children in our community and create a more inclusive and sustainable future. Thank you for your generosity and support.

Fundraising breakdowns:
- $10,000: Acquire a new bus to provide free transportation to campers. This is an urgent need as it will allow us to ensure accessibility to our programs for all children in the community.
- $10,000: Prepare the property for camp and community plots. This funding will help us create safe and inviting spaces for camp activities and community gardening projects.
- $80,000: Sponsor 20 low-income and immigrant children per week for camp. This initiative aims to make our educational programs accessible to all children, regardless of their financial situation. These scholarships will cover the costs of camp attendance, providing a life-changing experience for these young individuals.
