Help Improve Hanbury's Pupil Health and wellbeing
Donation protected
We are a small rural school in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, with 130 pupils on roll. The last two years have been incredibly challenging for our youngsters. We have been working hard to ensure that our school environment makes the children feel safe and secure and provides them with what they need to be successful and happy. We are in the process of developing our library into a safe, warm haven for those children who, for whatever reason, are finding the classroom or playground environment challenging. The staff have repainted the entire area and put out a plea to parents and carers for items that will help create an inviting space. We have turned a corner of the library into a safe space for particularly vulnerable children and funded part of this ourselves.
We would love to provide an area where children can curl up with a book or relax when things are getting a bit tough. Through your generosity, please would you consider donating towards purchasing a sofa and other items that would make the library a home from home. A place that will allow the children some respite from the pressures of what is, still for many, a disrupted and disjointed time and give them somewhere to take a breath and regroup.
