Help in the Fight Against Advanced Lymphoma

Hello friends and loved ones,

I want to share an important update with you. On January 21, 2025, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 large B-cell lymphoma, an aggressive and, in my condition, advanced type of cancer that affects my white blood cells and compromises my immune system. This diagnosis has placed a tremendous emotional and financial strain on my life. My ability to work and do what I love has significantly decreased due to multiple consultations with oncologists and other specialists, cancer treatments, and various medical examinations. As a result, I am depleting my savings while managing insurance deductibles, medical bills, and everyday living expenses.

Despite the challenges I face, including several biopsies, surgery for an intravenous access port, bone marrow treatments, and the beginning of an aggressive Chemotherapy treatment, I am trying to remain as optimistic as possible. However, I do experience emotional breakdowns from time to time, but I am determined to overcome this. I am still processing everything, but I believe I will make it through this challenging chapter of my life. Reconnecting with my loved ones while exploring the beauty that the world has to offer. With recent updates to my condition and treatment, I was informed by my team of doctors that I'll be unable to continue working for the foreseen duration of my treatment process; as many may know, I have a single household income, making this news extremely complicated to process. My career has been a large part of my life, and I consider many of my colleagues family. It is tough for me to ask for help, but I understand that I can't do this alone. So, this is me asking for a little bit of help and kindness. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude in advance for any support you can offer.
