Help in time of need after unforeseen illness

Hi my name is Cynthia,

My son lino was emergently hospitalized on December 6 for a sinus infection that spread to his brain. He had to have emergency brain surgery in which they cut out the left side of his skull bone to clean out the infection. Unfortunately on December 12th after a second MRI and CT scan doctors decided to do a second brain surgery to remove more infection and sinus surgery. Doctors were worried my son wouldn’t wake up from this second surgery because of cerebral edema. By the grace of god my son is here today! We got discharged on January 4th. I’m a single mom with 2 other children. I worked a full and part time job before this happened. I am currently out of work until my son fully recovers. He is currently getting therapy at home for physical, occupational & speech. He also has a PICC line in his arm which I was taught how to give him his antibiotics through. He is still missing that left flap of bone which neurosurgeon thinks can be put back in about 6 months. I am asking for help in this time of need. I would like to cover at least 4-5 months of rent so I can focus on my son’s recovery. Anything helps !
