Help Indi and Tom get back on the road

Car accident.
Car rear wheel bearing seized.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support everybody. What a journey and yes we are truly grateful they have come out unscathed. Many people have offered financial help and we thought no, no, but now they are dealing with the reality of the aftermath, car bills, towing and making their way back to get their stuff which a lovely family collected.
They worked so hard for the last two years to save for this trip and had so many hold ups to finally get on the road. They are planning to get to Queensland where Tom has family and will stop there to work, but would like the opportunity to take there time and not rush after such an ordeal as well as unwind after working so hard and having only had just under two weeks in the road so far.
Update: India and Tom will be leaving the hospital in a few days. Indi loved showing me the clothes she was bought from the oppshop by the nurse. She is wearing what they bought for Tom and Tom looks good in the Ladies pants as they weren’t totally the right fit Indi says it’s amazing to be somewhere and all you have is a plastic bag of bloody clothes. Yesterday was a teary day as Indi finally slept and woke up crying in disbelief that they have survived such a traumatic event. It’s interesting the journey of trauma, even when you are so lucky and grateful it still takes it’s time and is different for everyone.
The hospital wanted to keep them in a few more nights as Tom has a small bleed on the spleen.
Yesterday they had all the doublegeez and glass removed from their feet as it’s amazing what you can tolerate when in shock.
The bruises and aches and pains are starting to set in.
They need to head back to Leigh Creek soon and sort a car to get there.
Any small donation would be so much appreciated. The kind words of our community have been so touching to have so many care.
A big thank you to the Royal Flying Doctors Service., for their amazing service. A big Thankyou to the nurses at Leigh Creek for looking after them through out the night and being so thorough, to Adelaide hospital and also sending big hugs to the Trucky who stopped and was in shock. And the lovely family who collected their stuff and is looking after it until they are ready :)
