Hello, My name is India Bridgette, I am 61 years young and I am a USATF Masters Athlete, Senior Olympian, and 2x American Record Holder. My journey has been very rewarding though rough at times. As Masters Athletes, we are not privy to lucrative sponsorships as pro and Olympic athletes. We are responsible for All associated costs from training, registrations, travel, room and board and even medical if needed.
In 2022, I ran in the USATF Masters National Indoor Track meet held at the Armory in NYC. There I won the W60 200m and set a New American Record in the W60m race. This record has been standing since 2007. Then 2 months later at the National Senior Games held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, I won the W60, and 50m races and set a New American Record in the W100m race which that record had been standing since 1994. These accomplishments have been recognized and ratified by the USATF committee as I was also named 2022 W60 Athlete Of The Year!
I am currently ranked number 1 in the United States in the W50m, W100m, and W200m. I am ranked #2 in the world and am looking forward to international competitions.
My goal is to be able to continue training and compete in the USATF National Indoor competition, the World Masters Competition in Torun, Poland, USATF Masters Southwest competition, the USATF Outdoor Competition as well as other Masters level competitions this upcoming year.
This is why I am asking for your help to assist me with the costs associated with competing at the higher level of competition. Any donation is greatly appreciated and I will be grateful to you all.
Thank you for your support of this masters athlete!
