HELP Indian Overseas student Chanakya in critical condition
Donation protected
Dear Community,
We are reaching out with an urgent appeal for support. An Indian citizen, Mr. Kavvala Sai Chanakya, has recently suffered a critical accident in Canberra. His family in India is now struggling to provide the care and support he urgently needs during this difficult time. Your help could make a significant difference in this moment of crisis.
About the Situation
Mr. Chanakya, a young man working in Canberra, was found unconscious in his home by his employer after not responding to calls. He was rushed to Canberra Hospital with a severe head injury, where doctors discovered and removed a broken nail lodged in his head. He is currently in a delicate condition, sedated and under constant medical observation. While stable, he remains unresponsive, and his road to recovery is uncertain.
His Family’s Immediate Need
With Mr. Chanakya’s family facing severe financial constraints, his sister has been trying to raise funds to support their mother’s travel from Hyderabad, India, to Canberra to be by his side. As Canberra Hospital provides ongoing treatment, additional funds may be needed to cover future medical expenses, his mother’s stay, and potentially, repatriation costs if necessary.
How You Can Help
Your generous donation will directly support:
Travel and Accommodation for Mr. Chanakya's mother, enabling her to be with her son in Canberra.
Medical and Repatriation Costs if Mr. Chanakya requires continued treatment or, should the need arise, transport back to India.
Additional Support for unforeseen expenses as the family navigates this challenging period.
Every contribution, big or small, can make a real difference. Together, we can alleviate some of the family’s burdens and show our collective strength and compassion in a time of need.
