Donate to Support Ingrid After Palisades Fire Loss

Hi, we are here to ask for help for someone extremely important to us. Ingrid has been a part of our family since before both of us were born. (Some of you may know her as Ms. Eislerling) She met our mom (Cindy Tatum) and aunt (Cheryl Tatum) on the Palisades YMCA swim team. She’s an integral part of our family.

She lost her home to the Palisades fire. We are so grateful she made it out with her dog Bodhi. Unfortunately, she only has the clothes on her back.

Ingrid has been in the Palisades community for over 56 years. The house that she lived in was her dad’s house. He moved into it in 1985. Before that, her mom and dad bought a house on De Pauw in 1967. After she was born in 1968, they moved to a bigger house on 1150 Kagawa St. in 1970. She attended Palisades Elementary and then Pali High (to join the swim team) in 1985 and '86. They were city champs every year.

Ingrid works as a substitute teacher, and on the day of the fire, she was teaching second grade at Palisades Elementary. She made sure all the kids were evacuated before going back to check on her home.

Ingrid has to rebuild from scratch and any bit helps. Donations will cover any expenses NOT covered by insurance or FEMA.
