Help Injured Fire Fighter with Long Recovery Ahead
Donation protected
Hello, my name is John Wright, President-Emeritus of the Frederick County, Virginia Professional Fire Fighters IAFF Local 4145. On Monday March 25th, 2024, Frederick County Virginia Firefighter Christian Bomgardner was seriously injured on his way to work in a motor vehicle accident. Christian had to be extricated and flown by medevac to a nearby trauma center after sustaining multi-system trauma. After arriving at the trauma center he underwent emergency surgery to stabilize his injuries. He remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition. While his prognosis is good, Christian has a long road of recovery ahead of him including additional surgeries and rehabilitation. In addition to medical bills, he will be unable to work for an extended period of time incurring loss of income. All of this at a time when Christian and his wife are expecting their first child in less than two weeks. Christian has proudly served Frederick County and his community back home as a Firefighter/EMT, now we have the opportunity to give back to him by providing needed assistance for his recovery. Please consider contributing, any amount is greatly appreciated. All funds received will be withdrawn by myself and presented to Christian in the form of a cashiers check. Thank You!
