On a fateful night in November 2023, tragedy shattered the lives of an innocent family of 4 in Caledon, Ontario. Jagtar Singh and Harbhajan Kaur were brutally attacked in their rental home, leaving Jagtar Singh dead instantly and Harbhajan Kaur fighting for her life. Despite enduring 22 bullets, she bravely battled for 13 days before succumbing to her injuries. Their daughter, Jaspreet Kaur was also viciously shot with 13 bullets and remains in critical condition, facing a long road to recovery both physically and emotionally.
Daughter fighting for life, after got 13 bullets all over body.
Some images are too heartbreaking to be shown, yet their impact remains profoundly sorrowful.
Now, their children, Gurdit Singh and Jaspreet Kaur, are left to grapple with overwhelming grief and trauma. In response, friend Paramvir Singh has launched this fundraiser campaign to seek justice for our beloved parents and prevent such tragedies from befalling others.
The incident has shed light on systemic failures in the current policing system, particularly within the Peel Region Police (Homicide Branch), who had visited the family just four days prior but failed to prevent the attack.
Funds raised will support legal fees, travel expenses, and related matters as we pursue justice for our family. Your contributions will directly aid Jaspreet Kaur and bolster our efforts to hold authorities accountable and advocate for systemic change.
To those participating in candlelight vigils and supporting our cause, your dedication is invaluable, and we extend our deepest gratitude. Together, let us demand accountability and work towards a safer future for all.
