Help Isai Secure a Second Chance at Life

Donation protected

Dear Friends and Supporters,

My name is Cynthia and my husbands name is Isai. We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts but steadfast hope, as we face a critical moment in our lives. My beloved husband is in urgent need of a kidney transplant, a life-saving procedure that will grant him a second chance at a healthy and fulfilling life. While the emotional toll is immense, the financial burden is equally overwhelming. We humbly ask for your support and generosity to help us raise the necessary funds to cover the medical expenses and travel expenses and give my husband the opportunity to reclaim his health and well-being. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal and fills us with gratitude and love.

Update 1

When my husband and I started dating 11 years ago, we had no idea what challenges lay ahead. Over the years, my husband became very sick, spending five years in and out of the hospital, and experiencing total kidney failure after two years. Despite being hospitalized repeatedly, we spent many nights praying for healing and for his kidneys to be renewed. Though God's plans were different, we never lost hope. He endured seven years of dialysis, watching others receive their transplants while we held onto faith that his turn would come. Today, that hope was rewarded—we received the call that he is on standby for a transplant. With faith, we believe we will be taken care of, but we need your help. His transplant center is over ten hours away, and recent storms in Levelland, Texas, have depleted our funds. Any amount you can donate will be a blessing to our family. Thank you for your generosity and support!

Update 2
**Update on Seis**

When we got to the hospital, Seis underwent extensive testing to ensure he was healthy enough for his transplant. During these tests, we discovered that he had free fluid in his abdomen, which disqualified him from receiving that particular transplant. At our request, they performed comprehensive tests on his liver. Fortunately, they conducted all the necessary tests there, sparing us the challenges we've faced getting tests done in Lubbock.

Despite this setback, Seis remains at the top of the transplant list and has not lost his spot. We are now waiting to hear from the liver specialist to determine if Seis will need a liver transplant in addition to the kidney transplant. This potential double transplant is more complex but still possible.

We are keeping our GoFundMe open to cover medical expenses and travel costs for our trips back and forth to San Antonio for doctor visits. We will update everyone as soon as we have more information from the doctors.

Please keep us in your prayers. We are all exhausted and somewhat frustrated by the situation, but we are grateful that this issue was found now, as it could have severely compromised the new kidney.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers!
