Hi My Name Monique Im a Mother of Two and Just recently on September 9th 2021 my son Isaiah was Diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia just wanted to inform that we been in hospital since then So been off work to take time Battling this new life for us especially for my Son he’s 6yrs old so this is all new for us. He’s been under Intensive Chemo and took a big bumpy road into the mid month of the chemotherapy by Sept 14- 20th kept having stomach pains and turned out it caused pancreatitis then he ended up in ICU for 1week from Pancreatitis and throwing up blood and it’s now necrotizing and been in a lot of pain so they ended up having to stop his Chemo for a while , Also has blood clots in arms and Spleen and now as of Last week his pancreas formed a big cyst that they been trying to drain ,a lot of fluid build up in my sons lungs and stomach. So then Last week on Wednesday Oct 13th they where able to put the Drainage tube into pancreas but it got pulled out Friday due to it getting clogged so son started to be in more pain because fluid was backing up into stomach, so he has to under go Surgery next week for it , Also fought off and Allergic reaction from one of the medication his body was covered in blisters then he got blood Transfusion and made it worse but he’s such a Fighter especially with all the love support and prayers he Getting, So I asked for your guys help to help guide us through this long journey and any donations will help us pay for travel expenses and medical expenses for my son for the time of Treament and help get him anything he needs. So as of today Oct 19 Dr told us he’s in Remission that they never seen this happen very rare he made Impossible Possible , son has several complications he’s battling right now as well that will take time so means longer stay here for us at the hospital but he will stay under treatment for 2yrs getting Chemo to make sure he doesn’t relapse and he will have to stay Remission for 5yrs to be CANCER FREE.
