Help Isaiah Build a Gaming Computer!

I met Isaiah and his Grandma, Nancy, on Newtown Nextdoor. Nancy was reaching out to ask folks to pray for her grandson. Isaiah Knight, who is 14 years old, has been battling cancer for many years. He has acute lymphoblastic leukemia, ALL. He spends a great deal of his time in at UVA hospital getting tests, bringing down fevers, getting spinal taps, and receiving chemo. It is always wonderful news when we here he is well enough to spend some time at home.

There is a core of us who do our personal versions of praying for this brave young person. Nancy lets us know what is happening for him and how he needs our support, prayers, and good wishes. It has been an honor to be connected to this family. The courage and commitment to healing are so strong in both Isaiah and Nancy.

Nancy told us that Isaiah was interested in building his own gaming computer! That sounds like a great project for him with the end result being a computer that can bring him hours of gaming fun, distraction, and connection with other gamers. This is not a cheap endeavor though, and that is why we have set up this GoFundMe for him. I set the goal at $1000, but it would be great to get even more so he can really deck out his computer and get a really cool case.
