UPDATE: You all donated more than $5,000 for Isaiah's trip to Hawaii! I have disabled further donations considering we have raised the target amount and then some. Again- all remaining money over the $3,300 will be given directly to Isaiah for him to enjoy his trip. If anyone who donated is interested, I'd be glad to provide a full accounting of the money collected, fees, payments to the Tiki Bowl, and the money which will be given to Isaish for his trip. UPDATE: On behalf of Isaiah- thank you all so much for the generosity and support for this fundraising effort. Many community members as well as many outside of Boron showed Isaiah that we've got his back! The initial goal/expense requirement of $3,300 has been reached and surpassed. The GoFundMe account will remain open for now for those who may still want to contribute and be a part of Isaiah's experience. There is still the matter of making sure Isaiah has plenty of money while he is in Hawaii to allow him to truly enjoy the experience and take in all the island has to offer (food and activities in Hawaii can be very pricey). Boron High School's Isaiah Morgan has been selected to make a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii and compete in the prestigious 2024 Hawaii Tiki Bowl this coming December. The total cost of the trip (includes airfare, hotel, luau, and other events) is $3,295 per athlete.
