The People's Army Islington - Meal Fundraiser

The People’s Army is an Islington-wide support organisation to assist those in need during the COVID-19 crisis. We provide help with shopping, errands and other tasks.
We are now looking to create regular meals for the homeless and elderly.
To do so, we’re looking to raise £1200s by Saturday 11th April, with a view to starting on Monday 13th April.
We will cook and distribute 50 meals a day, three times a week, for four weeks (600 meals in total).
The meals will be sourced and prepared by a chef and then delivered to two local Churches: Saint Silas Church (N1) and The Angel Church (EC1). The meals will be split evenly between the two Churches, both of which work with the vulnerable and have done so for several years.
Please note, it is our intention to provide meals to those in need for as long as the crisis lasts. Hence, if we are successful in meeting our target, we will likely set up another campaign so that we can continue cooking.
