Help Bring Israa’s Family Into Safety

Hello,

We only have one life, and we all cherish it, living its days and details in different ways, with memories that remain forever.

I hope you're all doing well.

I am Israa, a talented graphic designer and the owner of a startup project. Today, I write to you from the midst of chaos and fear in Gaza, where my family and I are living under the shadow of bombardment and destruction. Our situation, like that of many others, is extremely difficult. Homes, schools, and hospitals are being destroyed due to the ongoing conflict, and the tough economic conditions make it hard to find dignified means of living. Because of this, I had to stop working and lost my entrepreneurial project, which I had built with great effort and dedication, sacrificing countless nights and days to achieve.

My family and I are living in a constant state of anxiety and fear for the future. We are in desperate need of peace and security, but we feel helpless in the face of these challenging circumstances. Despite everything, we hold onto our courage and hope for a better day.

-I am a talented graphic designer who works in the freelance field through various platforms, and I also have a project for designing and printing agendas. Additionally, I am a graduate in biotechnology and work as a trainer in this field. However, due to the war, I lost my job because of the destruction and conditions.

-As for my husband, he's a graduate in smartphone programming and maintenance and owns a shop for smartphone maintenance and accessory sales under the name Mac Phone. But due to the circumstances and destruction, he lost his job.

-As for my child, Tamim, he has spent more than half of his life in war. My child, whom I wished to grow up safely in the embrace of his parents, has grown up amidst the horrors of war and fear, without childhood, proper nutrition, safety, or any of the basic needs of children.

I feel trapped, with my child and the loss of my job and project in an inescapable predicament. Thankfully, we survived with our lives, but displacement has left us homeless. We search for shards of hope amidst the ruins of life. Our desperate need for safety and peace drives me to search for ways to escape this tragic situation.

Therefore, I reach out to you with humility and love, hoping to plant a seed of mercy and generosity in your hearts to contribute to helping us financially or by sharing this message to gather as much support as possible. So that we can travel outside the country and live in a safe and stable environment, start a new life, build beautiful memories with our child, and regain my project and job far away from the conflicts and suffering we face here in Gaza.

I promise you that every small contribution will be a beacon of light in my life, my family's life, and my project. It will have a significant impact on improving our living conditions and giving us hope for a better future.

Your contribution to saving our lives will be the only hope we have. Here, I will explain how we will use the contribution correctly and judiciously:

  • Special permits for crossing borders: Gaza is an exceptional city, besieged and restricted from all four directions, but perhaps the southern direction might be the only safety as we find our sister country Egypt as the gateway to welcoming us if we go there. But the process of leaving Gaza is very costly, as it costs $5,000 for one person and $2,500 for a child. Thus, we need $12,500 to pave our way to hope.

  • Transportation from Rafah to Cairo: The first step on the path to hope is the distance we will cover from the Rafah border crossing to Sinai, then to Cairo. This desert road is not easy and is also costly, as the land transport costs $1,000.

  • Settling in Egypt: The second step in the path to hope is to find a safe place where we can thrive and be affected. To find a home that shelters us and a place where we regain our strength to rebuild our project anew, we need $3,000 in this stage to secure life's essentials for at least a month, providing shelter, food, and drink.

  • Rebuilding our project: The most important step, through which we will start building our project from scratch, brick by brick. This step will be crucial for the family and the community as we will impact the services we provide to people and be affected by the needs of the public, adapting to them for our project's continued success. The project will cost $3,000.

  • A quick overview of the project: As a talented designer, I love executing designs in an attractive and unique way, making them enduring and engraved in memory. I turn beautiful memories into inscriptions on clothes or notebooks and can create an agenda and its accessories in a unique and distinctive style, personalised with all your special memories and occasions, leaving its impact with you.

  • Gofundme fees: For every project owner, there's a goal, and the Gofundme platform provides a service that allows people to make donations. When the goal is achieved, there will be a return to the platform, which is the financial return. A percentage of these funds will be for the platform, estimated at 1200$

I sincerely hope that this dream will come true soon, and that we will find the support and assistance we need to make it a reality.

Thank you to every heart filled with mercy and generosity.

With safety and hope,
Israa F.
