Relief for Israeli Families Under Terrorist Attack

Dear friends,

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity to help rebuild and support victims of the October 7th massacre by Hamas terrorists on Israeli civilians.

We are proud to share that we were able to raise $105,000 (!) and wanted to share with you how we plan to allocate your contributions. The funds will be distributed to three non-for-profit organizations to support rehabilitation of victims. Here are the names and causes of the organizations.

Kibbutz Beeri lies only a few miles from the Gaza strip, all it’s residents have been displaced. In the horrific massacre of October 7th over 10% of Kibbutz Beeri’s residents were murdered and others kidnapped including the 4 year old American-Israeli girl Abigail. Kibbutz Nir Oz, almost a mile from the Gaza strip. No words can describe the horrors that took place in Kibbutz Nir Oz on that dreadful Shabbat on October 7, 2023. Currently, one in four residents of Nir Oz have not yet returned to their family. They are either murdered, kidnapped or missing. To learn more about Nir Oz see this from The New York Times

Support is provided in Hebrew, Arabic and English for all Israel’s citizens in need.

On Saturday, October 7th, Israeli citizens woke up to the sound of missiles striking and a devastating coordinated attack from Hamas militants originating from the Gaza Strip.

While thousands of missiles were shot at cities and towns across the country, hundreds of terrorists infiltrated Israel to deliver one of the most brutal attacks we have ever witnessed. Civilian homes were targeted as innocent civilians, including women, children, and infants were killed, injured, taken hostage and kidnapped into Gaza.

The situation in Israel remains dire, with ongoing threats from Hamas militants, numerous children missing, and countless families searching for their loved ones gone missing. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing their homes in the south in search of shelter.

We are united in solidarity with the people of Israel, especially those displaced from their homes who are facing a long process back to normalcy. In this difficult time, we are raising funds to support families who are in dire need of shelter and food.
