Help ISupportHBCUs Fund Scholarships 4 HS Seniors
Donation protected
If you support HBCUs or students going to college, I need your help!
My name is Rebecca Burns and I am a PROUD HBCU Graduate! I graduated from the "Illustrious" Clark Atlanta University and earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. After graduation, I moved back home to Dallas, TX and started working for Education is Freedom and received my MBA. EIF is a non-profit organization that provides career and college readiness to middle school and high school students. I believe service and education are important and I want to create scholarships for students. Recently, I started my new business called ISupportHBCUs. ISupportHBCUs was created to spread the awareness about historically black colleges and universities, create conversations, and educate others about HBCUs. Another important factor about my business is, with it I will provide financial assistance to underrepresented students.
As you know, going to college can be very expensive and one of the major factors why some people are not able to attend. Awarding scholarships to students can help alleviate the stress off of them and their families, and that is something ISupportHBCUs will assist with. Three lucky high school seniors will be awarded one $1,000 scholarship during the spring semester of 2022 for their upcoming freshman year in college.. By donating to this cause, you are helping fund scholarships to low-income seniors who plan to attend a historically black college and university. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
