Help Ivan become a doctor!

I am honored to be selected for this highly competitive healthcare internship hosted by Kaiser Permanente this summer! Only thirty students out of hundreds of 11th grade applicants across Oregon and Washington were accepted for this program. This month-long program gives high school students like myself the opportunity to gain exposure to real world healthcare jobs and experiences.  Although it wasn’t always my goal, I now passionately want to become a doctor… My goal is to be first in my class...as well as the first in my family to graduate with any college degree...so this program is something that will put me steps ahead of others and this will make me more competitive for med school and for scholarships. I was shocked to be accepted to the KPYeah! Program. My concern is not being able to pay for the housing and transportation which is not included in the KPYeah! Program. I need help.  I will need about $1500 to support myself in Portland. I will have to be responsible for covering my housing, transportation, meals, and general living necessities for the whole month of July. By donating you are helping me pursue my dream by being able to attend reputable programs as such. I would deeply appreciate all the assistance I can receive while on my path to becoming a doctor.
