Help Jack Gallowtree on his road to recovery
Donation protected
My best friend of almost 14 years, and talented tattoo artist responsible for a great deal of my tattoo work, Jack Gallowtree, was recently the victim in an extremely serious motorcycle accident that occurred on the M6 near Knutsford, UK. When Jack’s motorcycle lost power, he found himself stuck and out of control at 60mph on one of the UK’s controversial ‘smart motorways’ that were recently introduced in order to increase traffic whilst paying little to no mind to the safety of it’s travelers.
Due to the lack of a hard shoulder, Jack was forced to maneuver in front of two large cargo trucks, across the lanes, purposely trying to avoid disaster for the other drivers and was incidentally forced off of the motorway, resulting in a serious crash that saw Jack hit the barrier, flying 300 yards at 60mph. With an air ambulance at the scene, Jack was taken to hospital with debilitating injuries, to the extent of staff informing him that if the same injuries were sustained 7 or more years prior, they would have simply amputated his left leg upon arrival.
After being away from his hometown for 11 years pursuing his tattooing career across the globe, Jack recently fought a losing battle against Swiss government legislation that left him unable to leave the country with his legally due pension contribution. A clear victim of contract fraud, proven by the Swiss PVA, Jack was forced to return to his parents’ home in Wolverhampton, UK to live under the same roof as his Mother and his seriously handicapped Father, in the midst of a pandemic which saw Jack’s career in tattooing go down the drain; struggling to make ends meet and unable to help towards his father’s care, Jack took the humble decision to become a plumber’s laborer in order to contribute what he could to his already distraught family.
Following his multiple surgeries, Jack now has a 2 year road to recovery to see if he can again pick up the life he once had, and continue to be the brilliant and inspiring artist he once was; during this recovery period he will need to find a new home due to not being allowed to be subject to even passive tobacco smoke in order for his skin, bone, and nerve grafts to take and for him to ensure the best recovery possible to one day become mobile again; and foremost, for him to not become an additional burden for his already struggling family.
For Jack’s sake, and for the sake of the many other victims of these new roads, we are trying to source as much as we can from the generosity of Jack’s friends and fans alike in order for him to support himself, his Father, and also to contribute to the removal of ‘smart motorways’ in the UK in whichever way possible. Please do what you can to help my best friend on his way to recovery, anything helps, I want to show Jack that the world can be a kind place and that one day he will ride around the world once again and live the life that he deserves.
Thank you so so much!
Aaron
