Help Jack regain his freedom
Donation protected
Many of you know Jack as a musician, real-estate agent or your local produce manager with a friendly smile. Jack is also a devoted husband to his wife of 32 years, Lisa Izett-Knauer, a reliable father to his son Aaron Knauer (Jennee Knauer) and a loving Papa to his four granddaughters.
Unfortunately, after suffering a tramatic back injury Jack has spent the last 6 weeks in Harborview. Sadly not even the skilled physicians were able to repair the damage to his back and Jack is now permanently paralyzed from the waist down and confined to a wheelchair for the remainder of his life.
This has obviously been not only a life changing injury that has impacted Jack and his beloved family but, also created a severe financial burden for them as well.
Here is where we come in. The goal is to raise funds to purchase an ADA accessible vehicle for Jack that will enable him to travel back and forth to Harborview for all future doctor visits. As of right now Jack is relying on public transportation to his appointments which is an all day process.
Jack and Lisa are life-long residents on South Whidbey Island. We are humbly asking our dear family, friends and community for your support at this time. Let's create hope and build a new future for Jack and his family.
