Help Jackson Attend the School of American Ballet!

Hi everyone! My name is Jackson King, and I’m 12 years old. Dance has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I started ballet when I was just 2 years old, and ever since, it has been the biggest part of my life. Ballet isn’t just something I do, it’s who I am. It’s how I express myself, challenge myself, and work toward my dream of becoming a professional dancer.

I train for hours every day, pushing myself to get stronger, improve my technique, and become the best dancer I can be. Ballet requires an incredible amount of dedication, discipline, and hard work, but I love every second of it. This year, I was given an amazing opportunity. I was accepted into the School of American Ballet’s 2025 Summer Course!

SAB is one of the most prestigious ballet schools in the country, and their summer intensive is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for young dancers like me. For five weeks, I’ll be training with some of the best ballet instructors in the world, surrounded by other talented dancers who share my passion. This program will help me grow, improve, and take a huge step forward in my journey.

I’m beyond grateful to have been accepted, and I was even awarded a $1,860 scholarship to help cover tuition. While I’m so thankful for this support, there are still a lot of expenses my family and I need help covering, including the remaining tuition, housing, and additional program fees. Since the program is in New York City, I have an option to stay in the school’s residence hall, which adds to the cost.

Remaining Tuition Balance: $1,860

Room & Board: $4,010

Fees (Registration, Activity, Laundry, etc.): $310

Total Goal: $6,180

The deadline for submitting my enrollment and making the payment is February 15, 2025, and I need to have everything in place by then to secure my spot. This program is a dream come true, and I don’t want financial barriers to hold me back from something I’ve worked so hard for. Attending SAB this summer would be a life-changing experience and an important step toward my future as a dancer.
