Help Jackson's Family Overcome Challenges

Hi, my name is Jeananne McCormick, and i am raising money for a sweet baby boy Jackson, and his family.

It’s been just over 6 months since Jackson and Harper came into the world 6 weeks early to join John Junior(2), Finley(15), Marissa(18), and David(19). Part of Jackson’s Down Syndrome diagnosis was learning that he had a heart defect that would require open heart surgery before his 6 month birthday and intestinal surgery within hours of being born! After a month of care in the ICU at two different hospitals(Jackson at Children’s Hospital and Harper at West Penn), the twins finally went home. But Jackson required supplemental oxygen and shots multiple times each day to stay alive. Melissa wasn’t able to return to work and regular trips to the hospital became part of the family routine. Eventually Jackson had to be admitted full time at Children’s to receive the care he needed to survive til surgery was possible for his heart. This family has been through the wringer, and is still not done. While the heart surgery went well, they still haven’t been able to take Jackson home. They continue to juggle one twin in the hospital while trying to care for the other kids and keep paying the mounting bills. And it’s not easy covering basic living expenses for 8 on one income let alone the medical bills, daycare costs, and the gas for daily commutes to keep this family above water. So please help me help them to survive this incredibly difficult time!
