Help Jacob Attend JrNYLC in Washington, D.C.

My name is Jacob J. I’m 11 years old and in 6th grade. I did not know it at the time but last year, my teacher nominated me for participation in the Junior National Young Leaders Conference. I found this out when I was notified last week that I had been accepted to attend the Summer 2025 Conference in Washington, D.C. According to the JrNYLC, the program is “held to honor and inspire the most exceptional middle school students in the nation, distinguished by their academic excellence, leadership potential, and maturity. JrNYLC is designed to reinforce the virtues of leadership, citizenship, and democracy while using Washington, D.C…as their classroom.”

Attending the conference will be a great learning experience for me. I will be able to find out more about what it means to be a young leader, and how I can help improve my community and the world around us. It will help me to develop skills I can use later in life and prepare me for one day getting a job. And on top of all of that, it will be exciting and fun to get to travel someplace I’ve never been before!

The cost of tuition for enrollment in the JrNYLC is $3,264. This fee does not include airfare or spending money. To make my attendance at the conference a reality, I am asking you to sponsor my participation. Your contribution may be tax-deductible and will show the community that you care about investing in leadership potential for the next generation. It’s kids like me who will be responsible leaders and decision-makers for the world one day!
